Welcome to the City of Clarkson

We welcome you to the City of Clarkson, Kentucky and hope you enjoy your visit with us. Clarkson is conveniently located along Highway 62 in Grayson County and easily accessible from Exit 112 on the Western Kentucky Parkway. We are centrally located within four larger cities. Leitchfield, the county seat of Grayson County, is just west of the City. Elizabethtown and Louisville to the northeast, and Bowling Green to the south are all within easy driving distance.

We are home to the annual Clarkson Honeyfest (which was designated as Kentucky's Official State Honey Festival in 2006), a new community center, a beautiful park, dedicated volunteer fire department, and a population of nearly 1,000. Clarkson is also home to a top notch elementary school, Veteran's Clinic, dozens of successful small businesses, and the world-renowned Kelley Beekeeping Company. Our tax rates are among the lowest in the area. We operate our own sewer system and garbage service and manage a community center, which can be rented out for special events and function. If we questions about our City or the services we offer, please don't hesitate to contact City Hall via phone or email.

So come visit with us and see why Clarkson is the place to BEE!

Sincerely,

Mayor Bonnie Henderson and the Clarkson City Commission
